Long bio

Michael Groselle, P.E., is the founder of Modern Engineering Solutions, a multi-state water and wastewater engineering firm working with municipalities, engineering firms and private developers. After walking away from traditional employment in 2017, he built MES from zero to over $2M in annual revenue, with 40+ team members, 300+ completed projects and work across 9 states.

While growing MES, Michael competed three times on American Ninja Warrior, played professional beach volleyball (beating multiple U.S. Olympians), and keeps up an active rock climbing practice. His wife, Lacy, and their kids have traveled to multiple countries because of the freedom this business model creates.

Building a successful practice isn't about luck or shortcuts. It's about making consistently good decisions, one at a time, and designing a life worth living.
